i think you need to know what the rules are before you break them. Do what the others suggested...squint and look at it. I don't think it looks THAT bad but i think the door handle/vehicle wraps placement is bad. Lower it and relocate the other tag line. Like previously stated, this should...
my local supplier Denco Sales is closed today...streets in town are relatively empty and methinks everyone is preparing to tie one on tonight in the hopes that 2010 was just a bad dream....
...welcoming in 2011 with a headache!

wow, some wicked custom paint there....i guess that answers the age-old question of what does one get when you cross a Hayabusa with a Vespa. Had no idea they did all that to scooters....crazy.
Tim
i think it looks killer with one criticism....i think the maltese cross kills it. looks like an afterthought. To me , it doesn't need it. The logo says it all. JMO.

Righttttttttttttttttttttt.
I'm sure Monster Energy went ahead and gave you their approval to use their logos for you to make a few dollars with....
As if they don't care how or what their nationally marketed brand is represented on. Puhleeeeeze. Call a spade a spade. Nice work 'tho...
thanks for your post. Thats how i clear my gold too....right after spinning. Slight overlap to seal the edges too...which outlining covers. I've been using HoK clear striping urethane w/ hardener or HoK UC35 brushed on w/ no reducer, just w/ hardener. My minor problem has been delaminating when...
great and profound post Gino! I don't do surface gilded leaf as much as i used to, but when i do, it still is as much fun as it ever was....the problem is having customers that appreciate it enough to pay what its worth. I still do stuff like this now and again....it aint a fire truck but you...
Clear coating in some senses are better...modern urethane clears are pretty durable. However, i don't know what you are using to top coat your surface gilded jobs (perhaps you could enlighten us), but i've had 2 part urethanes delaminate off the leaf surface a few times. Combine that with a...
i have about half a quart of that stuff in my cabinet...just in case....it was made by Best Buy Banner co in Riverside. I believe they quit making it. I keep the leftover amount for doing spare tire covers made of naugahyde. I used to use enamlkote a ton years ago. Now its quicker faster and...
these days Signgold holds up BETTER than real gold leaf when you take the limitations of the clear coats to overcoat the gold. Doesn't Signgold have a 10 yr warrantee if you seal the edges?

i don't know about the issues you speak of, but i show people a disclaimer stating, "We are not responsible for any underlying paint defects". Meaning say someone had a cheaply done fender repair where the painted surface was improperly prepped/lacked adhesion and while removing any graphics or...
easily solved problem: stop using crappy cheap vinyl. Serves two purposes, you turn out a better quality product and don't have customers potentially hatin' on you for the grey adhesive shrinkback....
Tim
that is indeed true as evidenced by the Ford part numbers....no individual pieces available. You MAY wanna try e-bay, sometimes these show up in a case similar to yours where someone only needed a portion, but its a longshot.
Tim
the FORD dealer.....it isn't a commercially available stripe. The micro-printed "HARLEY-DAVIDSON" embedded in it with the silver and gold metallic makes it hard to duplicate. if i'm not mistaken these are the Ford part numbers:
