If its just text and layout elements I don't think its a big deal to re-create it. I try to put myself in the other persons shoes on this kind of stuff. If I was the original artist I would be upset that customer went to someone else, but I'm not going to file a law suite over a text layout...
I am looking for really large cast Iron posts. A customer sent in a sign drawing calling for 38' tall cast iron posts. Anyone know where I can find something this big?
Thanks In Advance,
Nick
What I really want to learn is Adobe Muse. I've watched a few videos on it but haven't really sat down with it. Seems like it would be a lot less to learn & easier for someone who isn't a full time web designer.
We do a ton of service work with our bucket trucks changing bulbs and ballasts. We also do crane rentals to AC companies. These are what justify the big maintenance bills for us.
Well, I just found out this is an old drawing & the other company is out of business so I'm just going to change a few things alter it and make it our own. Nothing unethical about that, right?
Just got some detailed artwork for some interior light up & rotating signs.
They want us to quote them for making the same signs. I know this happens all the time so what do you guys do when a customer comes to you with another company's artwork?
I would be pissed if it were my artwork that...
:covereyes:Typical customer supplied artwork.
It definitely looks like an i-beam with a steaming pile of **** on top of it.
Please don't waste your time trying to find or re-create that crap. Tell them to supply you with a vector or GTFO.
