If the other two boards don't fix it my guess would be the servo board. These can go faulty with age and cause incorrect signals to be sent to other components on the printer. There isn't really anything that can go wrong with the fan other than it not working at all, so it will be something...

I think internal error 1210278 is related to the scan motor and 0106 is faliure to detatch the cut carriage from the print head. I would look at the motor first and see if you can see any signs of damage

it sounds like ink starvation. When you do a cleaning the pump is quite powerful, so will pull ink into the head and damper. When you are printing normally this doesn't happen, so if there is a partial blockage in an ink hose then it can stop the ink getting through properly. You need to check...

If you can't find someone who wants it to use, get a local scrap man to collect, there is a lot of metal in them. I would agree though, take out the main boards and sell on Ebay, they always go for a decent amount then dump the rest

Well if you can replace heads yourself you will save a lot on that quote, but then if you can't you need to pay someone who has the expertise to do it. A lot of people have tried to replace their own heads, damaged them or the printer, then had to spend out even more money

Often when you get a head strike it will be one of the outer channels gets the damage, so either the black or cyan. Heads can also be damaged by the impact itself as they are very delicate inside. Sometimes this can effect just one channel. Normally in this case it's time for a new head sadly
