When you changed the heads, did you make sure the printer was completely powered off ( and left for at least 15 minutes unplugged from the mains ) before you removed the head cables? If not you have most likely blown the main board fuse, so that would be the first thing to check.

I would say the head looks ok. As I mentioned before I don't think it's a head issue, it is the signal going to the head from the board. I would be looking to replace the servo board as this is the one that most commonly causes problems

unilateral or uni direction gives a better quality print than bi-directional on most printers. Hi Art, the next step would be to calibrate the heads and make sure they are correct. The steps for doing this are all in the service manual. You also need to run a test print from in service mode. This will check the small nozzles as well as the standard test print only tests the larger ones
