  1. Suggestions for retractable banner stand material?

It's a little pricey, but we use the Magic Pos Pro 200+. We've tried others, but nothing has worked as good for us as this does.
  2. Problem with HP Designjet 9000

Just for grins and giggles, take the side cover off on the capping side of the machine. Should be secured using 4 Philips head #2 screws. Print an IQ print and watch the 2 rubber and the stainless carriage belt. Watch for possible slippage or sometimes on the stainless belt, a loss condition...
  3. Cleaning boards for UV printing

After we alcohol clean, we wipe down with a tack cloth.
  4. Problem with HP Designjet 9000

Are there any unusual noises when the carriage is moving? Have you tried powering down and unplugging the unit, then powering back up?
  5. Newbie in Charlotte

    A big HELLO from Harrisburg.
  6. New From NC

Welcome from Charlotte!! We have a snowicane right at the moment. It was an icycane earlier today.
  7. Should I extend my warranty on my HP L26500?

We have kept ours up. The thing is too temperamental to think about the cost of repairing without it.
  8. Hp fb700

We have a fb700. I wouldn't recommend it. You can attempt it, but both rolls would have to be perfectly matched in length. The machine isn't configured for a dual roll application.
  9. Employee skills test?

I guess this gives a new meaning to calling a person a "Bird Brain".
  10. FB700 + styrene + ONYX

I'm new to the UV board department, but the only way I can achieve decent colours on styrene is to go max dpi and fine text. Am I the only person that is seeing this?
  11. Heat Activated Printable Vinyl

I am looking to replace a current product I am using. The current product is 60" wide and is packaged in 75' rolls. I would like a product that doesn't create static electricity, is solvent printable and would be durable on a canvas product stored in a bag. Yes, it will be plotter cut after...
  12. L26500 adding extra bottom margin at random

I had the margin issue after a firmware update. I shut the printer and the onyx station down, went to lunch, came back and fired everything up and all has been well.
  13. New to the idea of Latex...!

We have latex, solvent and aqueous here in our shop. The latex machines catch the brunt of the work for the instant drying capability. If we need bite into a particular substrate, we go solvent. Sounds like you should be happy it. I would also recommend the Summa plotter listed above. We...
  14. Ordered a signburst inferno with upgrades

Our machines are top notch and meet or exceed our expectations. Casey's support and expertise is the best in the business in my opinion.
  15. My HP FB700 Print Challenge: printing onto an iPad

Sounds like you are headed in the correct direction. If you're worried about a head strike, check and see if you can find a similar object or unrepairable unit to attempt first. Let us know how it goes. As for the white ink, I would see about loading up more that just the one job before doing...
  16. Hp lx850

We have it's older brother, the LX 800.
  17. Ordered a signburst inferno with upgrades

You won't regret it. All of our PC's are from Casey. :thumb:
  18. Vehicle Wraps on race car gelcoat and or primer

I would attempt a section of both areas first. We have done boats and primered race cars, but not a combo of both. Our wraps have stuck well to the gel coat on the boats. Yes, we used edge seal at all seams. On the primered race cars, the adhesive was more aggressive than usual. After the...
  19. Latex media

We have a LX800 and a L26500. The small machine is a tad pickier than the big machine. The only thing I advise is to test anything before you have a paying gig with it. Banner has been very inconsistent in the few last years. We are currently using Grimco's Forward Banner.
  20. Oracal

I have had great success with Tubelite and Fellers. They even offer to stock quantities that I expect to use.
