  1. Discussion Boudica...................................

This thread is confusing. Are people posting songs they hate? If so, there are quite a few great songs listed. I understand music taste is subjective, but I studied music theory in college and have been a musician since age 10. I think I have a pretty good hold of what is good or bad music...
  2. Wrap Music! Post Your Favorite Wrap Music Here!

WTH, I searched for it and got nothing last night, but now it comes up. The search even saved my previous search and it was exactly the same "wrap music". I am confused.
  3. Laminating 100s of Sheets at a Time

We have several coating machines. These needed briteline mounting film, specifically. That can only be done in my department on the SEAL laminator.
  4. Wrap Music! Post Your Favorite Wrap Music Here!

Really? I searched for it first and found nothing.
  5. Wrap Music! Post Your Favorite Wrap Music Here!

I Tend towards chill electronic music, but it varies. Post your favorite wrap music.
  6. Laminating 100s of Sheets at a Time

Ah, yes. I had this idea previously on another job. It did not work. Perhaps I did something wrong, but the "waste" paper underneath started folding and tearing and causing tons of problems. I have a SEAL 62 Pro. I have been told by techs that the "barrel" shaped rollers cause paper to tear...
  7. Laminating 100s of Sheets at a Time

I do not understand. Please elaborate.
  8. Need a lighted sign box - where to start

I've driven 3 hours one way for installs. There are not many sign shops in our area and we are the only one with a flatbed and CNC cutter, so we tend to travel quite a ways to some installs. Rural America is quite barren of commerce.
  9. Okay, I think I have a winner here..................................................................................

Yup. Saw that coming. You cannot trust anyone with measurements in my experience. Sure, some people know how to use a tape measure, but the vast majority do not(or so it seems). I was emailed on Wednesday morning that I would be receiving a 2-3 day rush job due Monday(23rd) and I would have the...
  10. Boat wrap

LX480mcv3 Always wrap above the static waterline. Boats are a breeze, or all the fishing guide boats I have done were, at least. I wrapped one in a fish scale print 5-6 years ago and it still looks great. I haven't seen any of the others since wrapping them, but I also have not heard any...
  11. Wall Wrap with Avery Supreme Wrapping Film

I am not familiar with that printer, but head alignment and drop detection is what I would do on HP latex printers. Sometimes a manual head alignment works better than the auto. If you have some jets out you can try to recover them, although I do not know how you do that on your machine.
  12. SHOES

If anyone knocks on my door without RSVP I always say, "No pants! It's too early for pants"!
  13. Blotchy (Splotchy) Solid Colors HP Latex 315

Oh. This looks to have been resolved.
  14. SHOES

After having a few hundred pounds of substrate(mostly MDO) fall on my foot, I wear CAT(Caterpillar) steel-toe boots. They fit me great(narrow feet) and have great grip and impact protection. I also use Dr. Scholl's "Work" inserts.
  15. Should I buy this saw?

That is true, but also true for CNC cutters.
  16. Help! Onyx 11 RIP-Queue Keeps Crashing

I had this problem with Onyx19. None of the above worked. I had to have Onyx tech support VPN in and fix it(they messed with all kinds of files. Tooks hours). Went from crashing every 5-10 minutes to once every few months. BTW, I highly recommend upgrading your Onyx. The newer versions have...
  17. New ink cartridges shows only 1% ink

I would contact the seller and ask them.
  18. Blotchy (Splotchy) Solid Colors HP Latex 315

Bad media or an optimizer issue.
  19. Wall Wrap with Avery Supreme Wrapping Film

I always use 3M Lx480 for walls. It works really well. Looks like paint when installed properly. Personally, I wouldn't want to risk using anything that isn't advertised as being for walls.
  20. Should I buy this saw?

I, too, have this exact saw. It works great. Make sure you have ample room wherever you are planning on putting it. We had to have direct 480(no step down from powerlines) brought in to run one our massive presses. The electrical boxes all had to go on the wall where that saw was. I had to...
