it does come in black and you can get it from sabic or tekra but they have a minimum for you to buy (don't remember what it is, i don't do the purchasing on that item)
let me know what you need and i can check our stock.
i have cut 10mil (.010" not 10mm) pvc and polycarbonate on our rolands but it just scores it doesn't cut all the way through. it's enough that you can just snap apart what you are cutting. i only do it for small qty stuff.
i have done some stencils and some sign panels.
i will check that site out but i get emails with these videos and you can go on their website and check older videos for free which is great. learned some very useful stuff
not sure if anyone else gets these but i pick up some good tips from time to time on installation or tools.

as far as i know the heat assist doesn't affect the bond. it helps with the silvering (haze you sometimes get from the adhesive on the lam) i could be wrong on the adhesion / bond part.
i have used cold laminators also and never had any delaminating issues.
i would do them from the middle up to the top then to the bottom. tape up the first panel or use magnets ( i just got a set of magnets and use them when ever i can they are great)
do a tape hinge in the middle then let the top come down, remove from the release liner, cut it off and then...
can you print white or silver?
if so maybe you can print on clear static a % of white or silver and make you own material or get clear static cling and try mounting the etch vinyl to it.
we also use our laminator, that will give you the best results but i have also used a cardboard core. lay the decals down and then unroll about a foot or so of the mask. put about 3in of the mask to the table and the rest on the decals then take the core and roll it against the mask. this will...
thanks for the input. going to try the plasti-dip paint. think i can just get that at lowes or home depot. also i have a call in to my brother in law, he is a state trooper to see what he says about the registration. let you know what i find out
have to wrap a white van and customer is getting a solid black wrap with some graphics added. i figured because of the amount of black i just ordered black wrap vinyl to save on printing, lam and any imperfections that you could get printing that much black(in other words wasted material) here...
I would go to all the shows but the traveling is a problem, i like just walking the show picking up on new equipment and info. I also think the education/classes are a good crowd grabber as well. I usually go to the atlantic city show but i can come home same day if i need to but the vegas, cali...
WHEN MY NAZDAR REP WAS HERE ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO THEY SAID THEY HAVE SOME FABRICS THAT YOU CAN SOLVENT PRINT ON. THIS MAY BE THE STUFF FOR YOU.
OTHER THAN THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO SUB OUT SOME DYE SUB PRINTING. I HAVEN'T USED IT BUT MAYBE THEY CAN GET YOU SOME SAMPLES TO TEST

we just save the tubes our material come with (have an ongoing supply of these) and then order the 3" tube caps from uline. if i have to cut them down we just use the band saw or a utility knife.
i do wear short sleeves all year long but if i have to go out side i dress accordingly. the short sleeves is an ongoing joke at the office because everyone else is always cold and has electric heaters going by their desks. my winter wardrobe is the same as my summer wardrobe and if i do wear a...
our shop is in an industrial complex. this weekend i had to do a couple of partial wraps on some sprinters for a customer in our complex. i finished and dropped the vans off about a football field away and as i jogged back to the shop the wind was actually moving me to the side and when i got...
