i have cut 10mil (.010" not 10mm) pvc and polycarbonate on our rolands but it just scores it doesn't cut all the way through. it's enough that you can just snap apart what you are cutting. i only do it for small qty stuff. i have done some stencils and some sign panels.

as far as i know the heat assist doesn't affect the bond. it helps with the silvering (haze you sometimes get from the adhesive on the lam) i could be wrong on the adhesion / bond part. i have used cold laminators also and never had any delaminating issues.

can you print white or silver? if so maybe you can print on clear static a % of white or silver and make you own material or get clear static cling and try mounting the etch vinyl to it.

never saw a frost/glass etch STATIC CLING version . we use mactac bubble free etch vinyl with good results and it's pritable as well
