using the laminator to apply large areas of solid cast vinyl to ACM boards - any tips

Most work good for me I run 95 degrees

It clear window cling and decals that I am printing graphics 2 sides with black and double white center- its 5 layer printing - I do not need to laminate

we haven't had much luck with 2 sided graphics - the double white always is discolored and I follow the specs in layered printing - Mimaki says this is not an issue but they have not been able to help me - gave up on it awhile a go

We upgraded our laminator for heat assist and it makes a big difference for us and gets rid of silvering - heating the laminate as it applies makes it softer and more pliable - before that we were using a laminate with thick adhesive to help reduce silvering

Thanks - it looks like we are going to go with the .125 aluminum and Avery Dennison DOL 6060 Anti-Graffiti Overlaminate cleans up nice if spray painted

Need heavy duty metal sign blanks 18 x 24 for client where high vandalism occurs - will me applying vinyl and overlaminate - other than .80 aluminum - any suggestions out there

do you mean apply to vehicle separately - not sure how one would use two release liners together?

Thanks we use cut vinyl calendared last job is Avery HP750 - and medium tack transfer tape - what am i doing wrong - i cut the first color - weed it and then cut the 2nd colour - weed and apply transfer tape medium tack to it - then try to line it up to the first color - like i said no problem...

anyone found a solution - I need to layer two large colors of cut vinyl on one premask sheet in advance of vehicle install I have done this easily with two color layered vinyl so that I only have to apply one graphic to vehicle it works because the one vinyl goes direct on top of another vinyl...

Did you ever get the UCJV 300 to print on the polyester flag material - i tried and it jammed up my machine?

Hello Sophie - was hoping you could help me as well - I have the 300 and love it as well - hard to get good advice from suppliers and Mimaki - apparently this will direct print/cut on roll magnet - any experience with that? also on 5 layer printing on static cling the white doesn't look white on...

the laminate made all the difference - - 10 Celsius BUT you only have one shot at it the polar sticks like crazy on cold glass :) thanks all
