I decaled up our delivery van over the weekend. It was cold but used a heat gun and things seemed to work ok. I noticed today in the rain, one of the decals created a few pockets that now holds rain water. It there any way to make this stick again without replacing? Maybe a spray or something...
the forecast for the next 3 days is highs of 47, 56, and 59 with lows of 26, 39, and 35. Unfortunately we dont have an indoors place to do it. Was hoping to have it done to surprise the boss when he gets back in town next week
Im about to decal up our delivery van. Its been a little on the colder side and I hear you shouldnt if its too cold. So what is too cold? Or does it not really matter?
Wow! Would love to hear your impressions of them when they arrive. Do you have a link to them at all? Assuming its www.y-m-s.net, I cant see where they have standoffs listed at all
Outwater looks crazy cheap! If I understand their catalog correctly, a chrome 1" x 1" seem to run about $2-$4 each. Will definitely look more into them. I just put a sign up in our lobby and had a few left over aluminum standoffs and really just need 1 or 2 to make it more stable. Other than...
Where is the cheapest place to buy standoffs? I really just need 1 or 2 (may get more later for future projects) and looking around online, it seems they run about $25-$30 minimum for a set of 4. I called Fast Signs to see if they would sell me one or two of them, they wanted $25 EACH, ack!
I know its not from anything blocking the eye they are even 1 second beeps. I looked at the plate all over, even removed it and put it back and no change. will look again tomorrow
Ive seen this one before but cant remember how he got in and out of it but I was changing the laminate. I was pressing the run button to feed everything instead of the pedal. Then I find the button doesnt work anymore, only the pedal. Also when I press the pedal, it feeds real slow with a...
I like thar idea :-) never used one of those machines. is there a limit to how thick they can cut from? just not sure if its too thick since its more of a home use machine
interesting. something more like that is what I was looking for. What do you print on them? Do you make what might be a full size banner with the clients logo and info but real small, or is it something with your printing companies info on it?
I hate throwing away large pieces of vinyl whatever kind it is. I find way to use them for smaller projects later that I could use it for to save money. I seem to find my scrap pile builds up mostly with lightweight banner vinyl thats a little small for normal sized banners but they are too...
Generally Im just doing logo decals. So it sounds like as long as I am not doing extreme curves like whats generally done with a full wrap, I should be ok
I have a couple rolls (and seen others online) that are meant mainly for flat surfaces. Just how flat are they allowed to be used on? Does it have to be as flat as the side of a tractor trailer or is something like the slight curve of a vehicles door ok as well?
Not sure how vague of a question this is, still learning all the crazy materials out there! I have a Roland Soljet with Roland VersaWorks. We are going to print on an MPI25111 Wall Film material and unsure which of the media types I should use for it. This is an adhesive semi removable...
I FINALLY found this video on it and its the same machine we have. according to it, it is the tubes with the brass connectors. I did try it to one of the tubes yesterday and I couldnt pull anything out. not sure why, will try again monday...
