I think that's an overbuilt tie off point for the truck drivers to use while they are on top of their trailers during unloading. It keeps them from becoming part of the animal feed. The splat stain would not be nearly as impressive at that height as one from a fall off that catwalk so they...
So how do you deal with a printer going down or a person not showing up for work? It seems like something so tight would require a bunch of input to get it back on track.
The wheels extend on the large booms which gives you a big footprint, no outriggers. I think around 80' and up they do this. They are also very heavy at the base, we have a 135' here that we are working on and it weighs 50k lbs.
I don't think that the quality is the same on roll labels vs large format with laminate? One of these big sticker places uses a pile of graphtec plotters so it can be done efficiently.

The sprint was a huge improvement over the 4B. I wonder if signs would look better today if that is what everyone still used. My friend still runs his 4B, it is painful to watch.
You just need a square cut 24x36? Go to a machine shop. I could shear you one and send it to you, shipping is probably 20 bucks. I have 080 here and would take 5 mins
