To add, every time I load a roll I subtract a foot when I put in how much was written on the roll, and when I record what is left before taking it back out, I subtract a foot then as well. Depending on how many times a roll has been loaded and unloaded - I often have a roll with about 20 ft but...

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I get decent files created in canva from some customers. The problem files always seem to come from someone using the free version.

Sounds like you need to educate yourself, to educate your customer. Here are some google search results on the subject. I read somewhere once that Canva doesn't have the "outline text" option - but in canva world it's called "Hollow", or something like that.

Is there a way to change your calculator to mm? In my method I use mm, but your calculator was inches, could by why it wasn't as accurate?

I should note that generally, I'll subtract 3ft from what I get just for extra cushion - I didn't in this experiment though.

You could save-as, and add "print" or "cut" to the end of the file name. My work files are Illustrator files. My production files are either a PDF, an EPS or a Tiff - I also tend to make a "production" folder for the production files if I have more than say 2 for the project.

Just outline it. Or expand it. Why don't you want to create outlines? Do you not have "work files" and "production files"?
