this would be my second time replacing the head, first time was due to a head strike, this time the head is heavily clogged so i ordered a new head, he new heads are not identical, oem seems to have a green ribbon connector, the new one is black, also replaced the data cable too..after the...

i went and bought a printhead that also wasn't genuine from macpc or something like that for my jv33-160 now my printer wont even boot up, can a wrong head do this, also my new head did not come with the microchip board so i pulled it off the old one and put it on the new one...i lost here...

i found the link, i did the inkdraw, nothing comes out now i guess i gotta get a new head, where can i puchase one, cause the place i purchased the mimaki wants like $1200 for it

printers been sitting bout a month cause i was on vacation..it was left on got home today and did a test print and very little black came out, several ink fills and cleanings done and it doesnt print anything at all..What to do next?

nevermind seems like the profiles were not set at all just put in the new color profiles nu-flex sent and the blues and grey are coming out for now...
