We have a Mimaki jv300-160 plus. And I am getting marks from the pinch rollers. The worst is 3m ij180 and ij175. I have printed ij180 before with no problems. Avery 1105 prints fine with no marks. I've turned heat down to 35 35 50. I had enough of rollers to change half of them. Every set of...
Pierce fire equipment also does real gold leaf between layers of vinyl. If the engine turning follows the lettering there's a good chance that's what it is.
Are there any Signgold/Realgold type vinyls that are UV printable. I'm using the solvent printable version of Realgold, but the ink peels off. Printing on Mimaki UCJV 300-160. Thanks.
I think I worked at the shop that made it, I don't remember it in particular. But the style and deer I'm almost positive I made it. Unfortunately the shop closed in 2015 when the owner passed away. It would of been 20lb dunaboard, the gold was gold leaf. Depending when it was made it was...
Looking at getting similar setup, which Xrite package works with mimaki profile master? I was also looking at the Nix sensor any other opinions on them. Has anybody used either of these on reflective vinyl?
These probably won't help you now unless you're ripping it off and starting over. Depends what material you used also. I don't have a whole lot of faith with that staying down no matter how it was put on. There's no video on how to cut it that's up to your skill level unless you apply knifeless...
To add to Boudicas heat and stretch, you need to be careful with how much you stretch the vinyl. Ideally you don't want any stretch. That's probably the biggest misconseption about wrapping everybody thinks you just heat and force things into place. And the more I look at that there are areas...
That looks tough, definitely multiple pieces and inlays. If you're trying to do the panels in one piece they will never stay down. You can't just stretch everything into all of those corners and creases Templates aren't going to help. Knifeless tape is your friend. I know this isn't helpful but...
I'm having a similar problem also but my prints are too long. I've done similar jobs just a few weeks ago that were fine. Same setup corel 2023 rasterlink 7 mimaki jv160-300plus. I had print cut files (that actually cut fine) that needed to line up to to cut vinyl and it was about an inch too...
So I am new to the printing end of the business. We have a jv300-160plus. Of course my first print job is on a nice cheap material 3m ij680cr. I don't see any profiles for this material or similar. Can anybody recommend any? Are there any color adjustments necessary since it's not really white?
