Hello, I posted about this issue a few weeks ago and still haven't solved it, but it has actually gotten worse over time and I have a better picture here to show it.
You can see in this image that above the "P" the print becomes grainy and the colors start separating, then the print becomes...
Makes sense. Unfortunately I just replaced the optimizer printhead and I'm still getting the issue. All our other printheads are under 900 ml used so I doubt they could be the culprits. When you hjad your issue was it just fuzziness along a horizontal band every so often or was it consistent...
Hello, I've cleaned my OMAS lense, replaced an expired printhead and made sure the substrate is not lifting up at the beginning. No change in in the issue. Any other ideas?
Thanks.
Hello. I've attached an image of the issue, but I am getting these fuzzy horizontal bands about 2 feet into every print I make. I can avoid them by printing a new job immediately after the last, but I let it sit for much longer than a few minutes this band appears on my next print. The image is...
Hello,
We have had an issue with our HP latex 110 for a while now, but it has been constrained to just the far left of the printing zone so we have not worried about it. Recently it has started appearing all across the printing zone however. I have tried replacing printheads and ink repeatedly...
This is really helpful information actually. Thank you for sending this. It is easier to justify buying more heaters for the shop when you've got hard numbers to back it up.
I'm glad to hear someone else has experienced this. Our batch of 3164m just arrived about two weeks ago, but I can't see...
That's an interesting point about humidity. We keep our room at around 50% humidity, which is what the shelf life recommendations are for our vinyl, but I wonder if that's a bit too high when paired with the winter cold.
I don't think I know what you mean by unravel the vinyl. We just load it into the machine normally. That's what I thought about the temperature though. I'll look into getting a few more heaters.
Hello. So it seems ever since it started getting really chilly this winter we've begun having issues with our Orajet 3164m developing bubbles, before we even print onto it, and only partway into the roll too which is very inconvenient. We use an HP Latex 110. The room rarely gets below 40 even...
I never quite solved the problem, but I did notice that the dents were occurring on our substrate prior to lamination after all. It was difficult to notice before lamination, but they were there for sure. After moving onto a new roll of substrate the issue actually disappeared completely so it...
We've noticed it on several different rolls of 210sg. I was suspicious that it could be a bad batch of laminate which got damaged while it was being made. We don't really use any other types of laminate besides a few samples I have lying around for side projects so I haven't noticed it on...
Surprisingly no. It's a new roller and we've been extra careful about it. I just double checked and the roll is still in great condition. They don't happen regularly either, as in for every spin of the roll these marks don't appear.
