Have you tried saving as a PDF instead of EPS? I know the EPS format is outdated and sometimes certain things don't print quite as planned in this format.

Don't pre-fill, you will fill once you have everything back together and turned back on. In the service menu, in the ink menu, I think it's called fill or something like that.

One question, did you power it on after you did that wrong crisscross of the ribbons? If so, my guess is that you blew something. Those ribbon cables shouldn't stop it from turning on unless it fried something when you put power through them incorrectly.

A tech doesn't have to rep[lace, but if you're not comfortable, it might be best to have one come in, as these can be easy to fry if done incorrectly or cause more issues. I'm not aware of a how to video for replacement.

You have some sort of electrical issue. Make sure that all the cables are plugged in correctly. Might be good to check the transistors on the main board to make sure all is good there as well.

You certainly have head issues there, if you've already tried replacing the cap top and soaking the head, the only real next step is replacing the head. I'd also replace the dampers and the cap top at the same time, that way everything is fresh and ready to go. If you do decide to do it...
