    I used to have a screen print shop before there was cutter printed vinyl. At this point in time I see no advantage in it. Use floor and wall vinyl.

    I'm in northwestern MI and retired. I have an Edge 2 and a Gsx plotter plus over 50 foils that I'd love to find a home for. I was just going to make a hobby out of it using Craig's List but it just wasn't coming together.

    Are you at all interested yet? I'll let things go cheap enough to make it worth it. Edge II, GsX plotter, over 60 color foils plus many duplicates. I had hoped to continue a small home based business but have had some health issues which have stifled me. Wife is after me to clean out the basement.

    I'm stilll running MacImprint on an old G4 laptop. I was a beta tester for it back in the 80's. Much easier and intuitive than Omega ever was. Retired now but still doing the occasional job off Craig's List.

  11. Can you contour cut perf?

    I've contour cut perf successfully but once installed I've sealed the edge with a 3/8" strip of high performance clear. It greatly reduces the tendency to lift, especially on vehicle windows.

    You might try advancing the foil a couple of feet before printing. Sometimes uneven stress seems to build up and that helps.

    I once bought a whole roll of teflon tape very inexpensive.. Lasted me years. Do a search for it on line.

    I've printed a transparent red/brownish tint and over laminated it on whatever imitation gold pattern vinyl or poly that you have with good results.

    There's a gloss coated masonite they they sell at Home Depot. I'd cut it into chunks and grid it with vinyl stripes for use as tracking jobs. Used wipe off markers on it.

    Double check the grounding cable between the top and the bottom also. it can fray badly and still look good.

    I used to put a small radius on both the inside and outside corners. It was hardly noticeable and sped up the process considerably.
