1... I am impatient
2... I don't like the word "hate" and rarely use it, but I hate intolerant people, religious extremists, stupid people (not the stupid people that can't help it, but the ones that think it's easier to be stupid than to try) and lazy people

24... I only answer my cell phone when my wife, a few friends or my parents call me, many customers have the number but I refuse to do business on it

• saw someone get their jaw broken yesterday...wish I didn't

1. Youngest of four sons. Ten years between me and my next brother.
2. We are both Captains in the fire service. He has 28 years and I have 18 years service.
3. Most proud of my two daughters 16 and 14 years old. They are awesome kids.
4. My oldest daughter, Alex, is a great photographer. She is having photos published in AMP magazine soon.
5. My youngest, Dani, is an awesome cook wants to attend Johnson & Wales.
6. Spend week-ends drag racing with my family, Alex works for track photographer.
7. Dani races a Jr. Dragster. 7.90 at 85 mph. Faster than a BMW M3.
8. Married to Kim. We met in high school but never dated till after graduation. Everyone says “Yeah I could see you two getting married.” We pretty much hung out together at parties.
9. Family comes first.
10. I can leg press 400lbs but could not do five pull ups if my life depended on it.
11. Love to shoot skeet. I can regularly shoot 24 out of 25 but have never shot 25/25.

20. Was in a C135, struck by lightning, lost power, dropped a 1000 feet in seconds.
21. Not afraid to die but the process scares the crap out of me.
22. Jack of all trades master of none. Certified welder, blacksmith, journeyman carpenter.
23. I’m a big procrastinator. It sucks, I have to consciously press myself everyday.

OK... My Psychiatrist said this would be good therapy.

1. I am the eldest of 2 sons born 16 months apart to a 16yo single mother who is the strongest, toughest, most vulnerable person I ever met. She's 60 now, and we all made it because of her.

2. I learned how to ride a bike by myself without training wheels at the top of a steep hill. I'd get started, then crash. Go back to the top. Get started and crash again....over and over again until I was completely bloody. I made it to the bottom of the hill eventually and excitedly pedaled home to show mom. She only saw the blood and the bent up bike...not that I had slayed the dragon on my own. This would be how I learned everything the rest of my life (so far).

3. Most of the time I was the smartest kid in my class but I got the worst grades.

4. I remember license plate numbers, serial numbers, windows registration keys, phone numbers... but not names. At Mutoh over Christmas I called RandyA "Ken" a dozen times. Nothing personal. If his name was DNYRA-4562A I would have had no problem. This is a BIG problem for me at my store because customers come in and they know MY name, but I do not know them. I remember their job.

5. I was a musician in hig school and a music major for 6-7 years in college. Played lead trumpet in jazz bands mostly. High & loud was my specialty. Really loud.

6. Traded my trumpet for a Packard Bell 386SX with 1mb of RAM and a 40mb HDD. My IT career was begun.

7. I grew up playing cards with my Mom... mostly 5-card draw poker & 7-card stud. Always for real money... penny ante. Grandma hated me because I would raise alot.
Now I love playing poker... any game. I read people very well and frequently tell them their hand when they fold to everyone's amazement. My dream is to play and win a big TV tourney...just like everyone else that plays cards!

8. I can't vote or own a fire arm. You figure it out.

9. I am divorced, but remarried. Have a 14yo kid that is just like I was at his age....damnit!

10. I like competitive cooking events... BBQ Cookoffs and Chili Cookoffs. I especially like selling trophies to the cookoff and then winning them back. I make really good Brisket, Pulled Pork, Ribs, Chicken, and Chili. The really should be all caps. I cooked the chicken in my avatar and it is not photoshopped in any way. I won that cookoff.

11. I will never lie, steal, or cheat....EVER. See #8. I am cured now.

12. A 6-pack of beer last 2-3 months. A bottle of scotch lasts a year. I prefer blends to single malts.

13. I don't smoke and have never even had a cigarette in my mouth. I have never done any kind of illegal drugs...not even once.

14. The man who was my father killed himself when I was 16yo. I had not seen him for 11-12years.

15. A poker buddy whose business failed, wife left him, went broke and killed himself 2 years ago. His son was about 16yo. It really bothered me even though we weren't THAT close of friends. I got to spend some time with his boy and tell him the same thing happened to me. I meant the talk to help him... but I think it helped me more.

16. I am a Dallas Cowboys fan...but shopping for a new team after recent dismal years. Even though AZ Cardinals are in the Super Bowl I do not think it will be them that I choose.

17. I have an engineering kind of brain... but I always wanted to be an artist that could create something. All I can do is fix things, figure out systems, and copy stuff. (and remember numbers!)

18. My truck is 10years old. Long ago paid off. My house was bought when the market was low. In 2003 I insisted on a 15yr fixed rate (5%) mortgage. My broker said I was a moron (actual words) for not getting an option ARM. I wonder what he is doing for a living these days!?

19. My Grandparents were born the day WWII started, Sept 1st 1939. I recall my Grandfather lamenting that Hitler's war ended in 1945 but his keeps going on and on. I think (hope) he was kidding. He died when I was 16. She died in 1992.

20. My favorite classes in school were history/gov't... and also creative writing. Maybe I'll write something someday!

21. I took Physics in high school my junior year. I skipped it alot and failed. It was the 1st time I failed to climb out of the hole I had dug. I had to have a another science credit to graduate... so my Senior year I took Life Science? Earth Science? Biology? Chemistry? NOPE!! I took Physics AGAIN! (see #2 above).... and FAILED again by a few points. I had to get 110 on the final to pass the semester with a 70. The final was only 100pts so it was impossible. I got an 89. I think that gave me a high 60's grade. 70 was passing. Ted Renshaw was the teachers name... I respect him alot for failing me when no one else did. I needed it. I did not graduate with my class. No diploma, no cap & gown. I took biology in the 1st summer school session and got my diploma.

22. I was an IT weenie for 15 years (starting with Win3-1). I liked doing project management. I liked building/designing systems. I hated doing administration. I hated going to meetings.

23. I want to learn to take good photos with an SLR.

24. I want to expand my shop next Feb when my lease is up.

25. I don't do plumbing or yard work....that is why they invented money.

1. Firstborn to my parents, first grandchild to fraternal grandparents.
