airbrush job

This isn't exactly my style, but it's what the customer wanted. The base on the truck is a dark blue pearl and he will be spraying the clear. I hope to get some more pics of it after he does that. It's all PPG DBC base coat and all applied with an Iwata HP-C airbrush over sanded clear coat.

I just realized the head looked plain white in my cell phone pic.

I wouldn't want it for two seconds but it sure looks like nice work. I wish that I had that kind of talent. Is this all freehand? Do you sketch first on the truck? Nice job.

I sketched it on masking paper then pounce wheeled it. I put transfer tape on the truck and pounced the pattern to that and then cut and painted in sections. After unmasking, I freehanded the shadows and smoke effect.
