You want Sintra, Komotex, Celtec?? Ultrafoam, or gator board, or... PVC is just a generic name, it's like saying you need vinyl.
Check with your regular suppliers. Most sign supply vendors carry them under trade names like those, and others, all have different quality, uses, and prices.

Regular pvc is very rigid and darn near impossible to use for a sign, besides being extremely heavy. Expanded pvc has strength and can be used outdioors. It's bendable, easily cut with just about anything, drilled, glued and most woodworking tools make it all very easy. The link johnny provided explains all that to anyone who isn't sure.
When I said that I never heard that term, I meant in connection with ordering sign materials. Any good distributor will know this and explain the options for the OP. However, if the vendor doesn't know, they'll most likely just sell ya something like DL mentioned.

actually you beat me to it. i was going to say the same thing.
we have been buying from piedmont for the last 2 years. we were a diversified display customer and piedmont acquired them

Sorry for the delay in getting back on this.

I have to remake a few of these boards, They are claimed to be a solid pvc board with a black border that is installed after the board is printed. They do not have a foam core or any other type of core.

Would love to find these boards with the border with them.

Anyone have any ideas on where to get these.
