Wouldn't routing eliminate the sharp curves in the design?I'd Route that with a 4mm bit. 3mm if you want a little more detail. Not really worth it in by opinion for the little bit of detail you get with a knife.
You can oscillate knife cut, but it'll take forever and you need to make sure you eliminate overcuts or every inside cut is going to have an overcut.
Ohhh, if only we could tell the clients what to want. It IS complicated, but not impossible. Just charge them appropriately for making their dream product a reality. It's too complicated. I would simplify it a bunch and put it on something that's more rigid than Ultra board. Unless you're doing thousands of them it's not even worth it. People have way too big of expectations when it comes to the stuff.
Might as well run a 1mm bit. 3/16" should be fine.I'd Route that with a 4mm bit. 3mm if you want a little more detail. Not really worth it in by opinion for the little bit of detail you get with a knife.

I think at that size most cutters high or mid-range cutter will do but without a doubt go Graphtec (subjective opinion). Depending on the substrate yes double cutting but if just vinyl one pass. But as to the substrate, yes downforce, lower speed and a good blade will suffice. May I ask what's the graphic supposed to be finished? Interesting. What would everyone use to cut this on the colex? Going on 3/16 ultraboard, total size is about 48x48
