Blade cuts deep enough only half way...

Newbie here....

I have a CE5000-60...learning to use a cutter

I have worked with software for years...and network/desktop hardware, printers, etc. Figured cutters would be fairly simple to configure...HA!

My problem is, the material cuts great for about 10-12 inches...then the blade doesn't cut quite deep enough...so it's basically like having a 12 inch cutter.

...and I can't find my manual...and Graphtec's site has a bad link for the manual.... surely there is an adjustment somewhere....hardware adjustment?

Cutting strip worn?

I'd say the strip as well. Just replace the one on my GX-24. It was not cutting thru where the strip was worn.

make sure your pinch wheels are positioned properly and the vinyl is smooth on the plotter
