both black cartridges at 10% or less yet no warning

I cant remember this but for every color when the amount gets to 10% you get the low ink warning. This morning I checked my amounts and both black cartridges are at 1 yet there is no warning. Is this correct?

It doesn't "seem" correct.
How does your printer warn you?
Mine has the red light on the cartridge position, as well as the report available in Rasterlnk that I check on with each job.

maybe its time to pull the battery. I have to full cartridges of black from april 2009 what you guys think?
