Oh the stories I have. He cost me a lawsuit on a machine I sold and broke my Multicam Celero 7.
Sorry to hear that!

Looks like he's been doing this for a while...and police reports have been filed. Maybe he's in jail? This post is from January 2024 with 53 comments.
I don't have time to fully investigate, I have to letter a truck. This should get you some contact info:

I was involved with 3 class action suits. There is no set limit to what the amount must be. It seems more about the amount of plaintiffs in it means more.

In one of them, I had all my stolen goods returned in perfect condition. Worth was around $11,000, so I dropped out
Another one was with a vinyl company (nameless) who also returned my money, before it went to court and I would drop out and never discuss it again
The last one was for a sign we made and installed and waited for our balance.... like forever. There was a class action suit against him from contractors, electricians, plumbers and just about everyone ya can think of. Then, he made an insurance claim that all his equipment was stolen, which held things up further. We happened to know where this guy lived. My wife took really good notes. Instead of filing with the class action, we filed against him personally and our case was set for the same date as the class action one. Theirs kinda got pennies on the dollar, but ours made him go to jail for 4 years and we got paid in all kindsa increments from $150 to $500 every month, til we got our money back in full. Once he got out, he hadda wear an ankle bracelet for 3 more years.

We've been taken here and there but it's usually one of those deal where you go "Yep, should have seen that one!"

We live in a capitalist society, so some prosper while others fail. But that doesn't mean one has to be a child regarding owning up to the failure of the enterprise. Man up and make good.

Just wanted to bump this back up since I see Jim is out there working again after what seemed to be a little hiatus to lay low. Multiple super positive google reviews in the last few months, not sure if they are real or not but I am sure he will be back to his old ways soon enough. I hope no one else gets screwed like I did.
Those reviews are fake. He knows what he is doing. Hes a thief and scammer.

I was also scammed by James Church.

He may be enjoying the money he took right now, but schemes like this don't last forever. What he's doing will eventually catch up with him - they always do.

I have documented everything and gathered all relevant information. If anyone else here has been affected, I suggest you keep records of all communication and transactions. The more organized we are, the harder it becomes for people like this to continue operating.

Glavin_ID i think Texas Sign Maker is him! Se previous post.

Stay careful and don't ignore red flags.

28 years ago, we got involved with a former Kodak nationwide rep, he began selling photolabs, (moto photo, Kis, Noritsu, etc)
he did very well for 2-3 years, then he went to atlantic city & won $30,000
he went INSANE, overnight he became a compulsive gambler, if he won, he would decide he would INVEST his winnings (with another trip to atantc city)

first phone call i ever answered at his business was a customer from oklahoma who had given a $20,000 deposit & never got anything for his money

he finally scammed one of the biggest wholesalers of that kind of equipment in the country, went to prision & i BELIEVE he did not do well & died there

this is a fairly common story EVERY INDUSTRY has it's scammers
