Crazzzy fonts, what are they?

Man, I don't know what either of these are. Crazy looking little logo here... lol.

Anyone have any ideas?

I designed a font looking similar showed it on website and someone copied it then created the rest of the font sorta poorly ... but after that who knows .. curious myself now

I just turned down a $1,200 sign that was approved with a purchase order attached, for a park system that used that font. It's called mesquite standard. They sent me a design that was approved by an advisory board. I told them I'd refuse to make the sign using their supplied design and that it was horrific looking and no way would it ever be made out of my shop.

I felt good saying no to that job.

Maybe its just me but I kind of like it, depending on the job. I used it on a concession trailer and year ago. I thought it turned out good. But that is just my opinion.

This is just a run of decals for a friend who's family runs the track. They had this already done, I'm just running of stickers.

I guess it's appropriate to use Mesquite on a sign that "Mesquite" is the business name. Although I don't hate the letterstyle.

Or did you ever notice a name using a font which shares the same first letter?

David you are so right...But I do sleep well at night and that to me is worth not having to compromise ever on my integrity or quality of the work I sell I like that I'm proud of all my work in my portfolio. I'll take any of it to my grave with pleasure.
