There's no significance to the spacing; it is just his name in Latin. For thousands of years people will have a glimpse into the dark ages of computer kerning (I hope that's what it was!!)

I see more and more of bad kerning every day. Aren't they teaching this stuff anymore? Also I'm noticing typo errors in printed media - legal documents, books, websites, etc. What ever happened to the old saying "cross your T's and dot your I's". The details matter. The scary part is when doctors overlook things, like which organ to remove.

My mother-in-law brought it to my attention, I didn't know it wasn't one word the first time I saw it. Then when she told me what it was suppose to say (FRA NCISC VS) I about lost my mind laughing!

I think a lot of people are self taught because the computer programs are so easily accessible and easy to learn. It drives me nuts when I see bad kerning. Here and there I've been in a hurry and I'm like...OMG what the hell did I just print!!
