Hand Carved Beach House Sign

I've been practicing (and still need lots of practice) my hand carving skills. I have to say a big thanks to Adrian Page for taking so much time to help me get going with this.

Here's a beach sign I'm wrapping up today. Made from HDU and hand painted with acrylic latex paints.

...and if that's what you're trying to paint with a mask you may try doing it by hand.
The beauty of painting carved letters is you just wipe mistakes off to the edge.

True, but the paint mask cleans up nicely my less than perfect carves

The letters are incised. Haven't tried prismatic yet, but it looks like you can do a good job with hand tools...
