ID Needed

Hi Folks,
Client restored a '48 Chevrolet Police Car. Would like door copy painted as on original. Since i'm not that great at it was going to cut paint mask and had paint in the letters. Font style proving to be difficult to ID. I do have the original pounce patterns. Any ideas? BTW, don't bother with "Send it to a hand painter in the area". They are all dead or retired. I tried.

Fonts didn't exist back then, I do not know of anything that close to the lettering in my stash here... it resembles Bebas kind of but not sure what else is close enough to modify.
