Kala Mistral Arkane 1650 - Error E07

Hi All,

I am loving and hating this machine. When it works it works perfectly with 0 issues and I can run hundreds of feet without drifting or anything.

However, when there is a problem you are stuck with the crud service and limited utilities. Last time I had an issue they didn't tell me what the exact issue was they (Max) just made me swap parts until it was fixed.

Today I received Error E07 when turning on my heater. - In the past when I had an error code they made me replace, the heater rod, the triac, the cables, and finally the board. I do not want to wait 2-3 days for each part to be shipped just to replace another part. I want to fix it with the right part one time.

Does anyone in their experience know if there is a repository of error codes for this machine and what they indicate? I asked Max if I could purchase spare parts last time and he ignored me every time I mentioned purchasing spare parts.

If someone has information regarding this error code that would be fantastic to be pointed in the right direction.

Thank you all!!!!

An E07 error on Kala Mistral and Arkane laminators generally signifies a safety system or sensor trigger, often related to the emergency stop buttons or infeed tray position. It indicates the machine has entered protection mode and will prevent the rollers from operating.

Kala support asked me to send them a picture of my electrical/wiring and then said it was my TRIAC again. $9.99 on Amazon, the issue is, how does it keep faulting? Am I doing something wrong? How to fix this permanently?
It was last replaced 9-10 months ago.... ALSO we don't KNOW it's the Triac, this happened last time. This is the first thing we're trying.....

Thanks,
