Longshot: Looking for a Sensor. Pics Attached

Just throwing it out as a longshot, but im curious if anyone might have any info regarding this sensor or if anyone happens to know where or how i can find one or two of them. Thanks!

I should have some of the actual black sensors in stock. If you can measure the old ones and also the hole spacing for the mounts I can let you know if they will fit

Just 2 generic optical endstops on a custom circuit board wired in parallel. About a $5 part if you know how to solder, just need the connector, some perforated circuit board and the 2 optical switches. The optical switches should have part numbers on them, but they are partially obscured in the pic. Probably around $0.80-$2 each.

Might be a little more complicated than that. We're working with our manufacturer and dealer in order to find this part as we're having a hell of a time keeping one of our DTF printers running until we're able to upgrade. All started with a motor/servo error and after swapping tons of parts, we're back to this sensor. It seems the connector is damaged, but we're unsure of how to diagnose it. There is really not alot of identifying info on the board mounted sensors to conclude if a direct swap for something else will work, nor did the retrofit option that was offered to us work. We're kind of at a loss. Smoke_Jaguar it looks like the sensors have a Large S on the top side, With S52 on the side closest to the camera, with 3 and 4 on the outside of the sensors out of shot.

As smoke said, the sensors themselves are very common, off the shelf parts. The fact that 2 are soldered to the board in parallel is the only thing proprietary about the sensor as a whole. Those sensors are most likely Chinese clones of a more standard sensor. Almost certainly 5V power spec.

Solventinkjet So here is the fun part. I already have those in house and installed and whatever theyve done different on the 1.1 version, isnt jiving with our configuration right now. This all started a couple weeks ago when we booted the printer to an error on the servo that controls the motor. Easy fix theoretically, swap out motor and servo and should be all set. Well that isnt what ended up happening. Shocking all of us, including the techs whove worked on these printers for years and the company that designed and produced the machine, the machine on boot, rocketed the carriage to the user end of the printer at full speed into the end stop and damaging the original origin/limit sensor. Since then we've tried multiple configs of the wiring harness and the 1.1 sensor with little to no progress. So yeah, hence me seeing if anyone has any idea whats up here. Struggling at this point as our new printer wont be delivered close to the end of the year. Its wild because even the guys in Italy who do retrofits and updates on this gen of printer are stumped.

or he could solder them onto the existing PCB.
there are only 3 wires AND NO OTHER PARTS

Yeah, it may be at that point where we build it ourselves considering this specific part is not made anymore. Just hoping someone mightve seen it somewhere. Just trying to keep this guy going for a month or two longer so we can keep pace up in production. New machine coming at EOY so just trying to not have to limp in production with 1 machine.

i am just skimming, but i do not see the printer identified
50 years poking around in 100's of printers i have never seen a firmware update or a version update physically damage a sensor

possibly cause the need to recalibrate something

(sometimes turn a working printer into a brick...)
