Question Looking for Better Supplier – ECO-UV5 Inks

Hey all,

I run a small business in Utah and use a Roland UV printer with ECO-UV5 inks (500cc). I currently source inks from Spandex, but they keep sending me cartridges that are close to expiring—usually with only 2 to 4 months of shelf life left.

They’ve made it clear that their policy is to only offer refunds or exchanges if the inks have less than 2 months remaining, which doesn’t help me much. As someone who doesn’t go through ink very fast, this is a real problem.

So, I’m looking for a reliable supplier who can consistently provide ECO-UV5 inks with at least 8+ months before expiration.

If anyone has a go-to vendor that’s been dependable with ink shelf life, I’d really appreciate your recommendation.

Thanks!

It's a common problem with UV inks even with other manufacturers. Find a dealer who will drop ship them directly from Roland and you'll get the best expiration dates. But even then, you might not get much better results.

I've been in the same boat with my Roland. Low volume printer. So, I purchase from SwingDesign.com online... and I get very long expiration dates. HOWEVER, expect 3-5 days before the order is sent to Roland. THEN expect Roland to drag ass before they ship out the cartridge. Shipping is free via Ground... so now expect even more days of waiting (from California)

So plan ahead... you can't wait until the last minute. Plan on 2 week lead time, not 2 days
