LX 800 finally here

After 6 week delay. Machine was finally delivered today. We will have it inked up and running prints hopefully this afternoon.

After we write some nice profiles and run A bit, I will give my 2 cents on the a Latex production printer.... Is it really a true production machine?

Keep you posted and yes we are running out of space...

Wow, that's a beast of a machine Mike. Good luck to you guys, I hope it's everything you expect it to be.

Stellar results thus far...

Much more than expected for sure...

I was a little concerned that for a 10 foot machine it did not seem as robust as our other 3 meter printers and had alot of plastic to it. Not to mention it was the first machine I have ever purchased sight unseen and rolling the dice @ $200K.

Amazing machine.. Super easy to run. No real learning curve. Great quality prints. HP/Scitex really made a grand format machine that is as easy to run as a hi res Aqueous inkjet...

Getting 700+ s/f/h with quality that will blow away any Roland,Mimaki or Mutoh at 1440 dpi at turtle speeds....

What the replacement cost on the HP latex heads? Are they thermal heads, if so what's the expected lifespan?

That's sweet Mike. We've been looking at this one too, but it'll probably have to wait until after we get a Zund on board.
