Matthews cleaner alternatives

Does anyone have alternatives for Matthews 6410SP cleaner.
What do you use to clean/prep aluminum before painting?
Alcohol and Acetone seem to be the active ingredients

PPG's H2O-So-Clean SWX350 is similar.

we use denatured alcohol and/or paint thinner to clean/wipe raw surfaces depending.
for painted surfaces, we just scrub with isopropyl alcohol&water after removing any adhesives with RapidRemover.

I was a finisher for 4 years, I was taught to clean raw metals with a 220 radial sanding and then wipe down with lacquer thinner and blow off with air before priming. I was discouraged from using Matthews cleaners and when I did try them just to test why I remember feeling like they left a residue. Anyway, that's what worked for me. In an offshoot manner, I do graphics now and we clean everything with IPA.
