Mimaki jv3 printing issue

Hi,
anyone know about this printing problem?
When printing i am getting like a yellow shadow.



Any ideas?

Have you run a test draw?

yeah. do the test draw and look to see if the yellow pattern seems out of position and get back with what you see.

looks like an alignment issue on the yellow.
test draw should confirm this, you'll notice either a gap or an overlap of the yellow test pattern with the pattern next to it.

find some cheap material that you don't mind wasting to run alignment procedures.

Could be a bad alignment, but I wouldn't rule out a bad ribbon cable going from the printhead to the slider.
