Mutoh 1204 ink smudging

Recently the last couple prints it seems that the ink is smudging from either the print head or something else while im printing. I uploaded a picture of what it looks like. I've been cleaning it following the manufacturers instructions but the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated.

The ink is smudging, because it looks like you are trying to print on that weird reflective stuff. I'm guessing it's not Eco-Solvent compatible. More than likely, the ink isn't biting into the top layer. A product like that needs a full solvent or thermal.

You can't print onto some reflective material.
I had to print onto some reflective and two weeks later it still hadn't dried.

What I would do is print onto clear then apply to reflective and then over overlaminate.
Making an already expensive job even more expensive...LOL
