Does anyone know what font this neon text is? Or even something close

VAG is very close. Or you could try Gotham Rounded

Given that is a real, single stroke neon sign the source typeface could be any number of possibilities. I think the proportions are kind of close to ITC Franklin Gothic (the "R" feels right).

Looks like Gerber's E Single Line. It's what I use whenever I'm showing single line neon in a proof.
