I only have one piece of equipment LEFT, I'd like to sell. It's a Roland SP540 V. It's a printer/cutter and was tuned up professionally about a year and a half ago. It's CMYK and does really nice work. Well taken care of and serviced us very well. Last it was working was the 3rd week of December, right before we sold the building. It's in my garage, but I have no computers or software to hook up to it, but it works just fine, so it can't be demonstrated before your very eyes. It's also too cold out there to turn it on.
Any interest PM me or ask questions in this thread.

Gino

Hey Gino,
Hope all is well,
Keep that workhorse plugged so it can do the automatic cleanings to purge the heads.

Wow, you have been busy selling. Were you able to get rid of all the vinyl and the small stuff?

Presently, it's in my garage and it's been in the 20s & 30s out there, the last month or so. I can't turn it on right now.

Sold most everything, except this printer. I still have a buncha hand tools, which I'll just sell at like a garage sale or something. I had all my vinyl for sale for like $1,000. No one locally wanted it, so I threw it out. Probably 8 to 10k worth of viyl.at least. Damn shame.

If no one takes the printer, I'll basically just off it.

when i was in high school they had a "print shop" class
you actually learned to set type by hand & print on a heidelberg press

then you loaded a sheet of film & processed a b&w negative (not all that exciting, i was already processing black and white at home as well as agfa color transparencies) when i was 13

We had a Heidelberg press also and set the type by hand. It was so neat because the first class could start it up and then each class after would just add ink and paper. We mostly made paper pads for different teachers, etc. Then each class could use that glue stuff and add the carboard. Definitely one of my favorite high school memories. We also had "regular" presses with the metal plates that you burned. I don't remember that exactly.
