Looks good for what it is supposed to do. No doubt it will be effective.

If I was going to critique the work of the CG artist, I would say the procedural textures and over-all render of the plate could have been better. Lighting was good, but there were dead spots in the sequence that could have used more bounce. The animation was nice and smooth though and I couldn't see any faceting in the model which is often a problem with basic assets such as the one featured in your video. Often with these kinds of showcases the animation is terrible, but yours is great!

I hope I didn't come off like a meanie... :design:

EDIT: I'm going to revise what I said about the render. It's good, but it needed that little bit more for the close-up at 0:36.

With that total VHB coverage they will be very difficult to remove without pulling off fingernails...

looks like a ton of work was done to get it put together.

as far as a critique. my main issue with it is it doesn't "pop". it's very gray, and dark, even with a dark background. it causes the product to seem somewhat dreary. why isn't the background rich blue or white or??? maybe you tried that and didn't like it. also a voice over would be great while keeping the subtitles. for it to be a representation of the company, it would be great to put a human voice to that image as well. aaaand.... i feel bad for critiquing at this point, ...it was a bit slow. i felt myself wishing it would be just a tick "swooshier". aaaaaaand.... if the first product video, why not an actual photo shoot of the actual product? the rendering is fine but not a single shot of the real thing? it might cause the customer on the edge of buying to not get engaged simply because they just want to see the damn plate.

Thanks for the great feedback. We went to our marketing firm and asked for a product video showcasing our main product line and they came up with this video.

I appreciate the feedback as we will be doing more videos in the future and we some times get blinders on and can't see the big picture.

You would be surprised what people can do in an elevator or while waiting for an elevator. 30-45 Seconds with no one watching or they think no one watching and everyone turns into a vandal.

Was doing some consulting in Las Vegas. Elevator ride down in the morning.
Picked up a CRAZY chick half way down.

I was scared. It was weird.

Ground floor . . . DING

Security dude was waiting at the door and escorted her away.

Asked him, "how did you know ?"

He pointed to a little pin hole camera in the upper back corner.

I've always found elevator rides in Las Vegas to be an amusement park ride. Its like Tower of Terror you never know how its going to go.
