what did you end up with? seriously considering the switch (from onyx). the suite of tools seems amazing. It should cut our file prep tremendously and help us open new opportunities.May I ask if you still feel like this? Print Factory's lack of tech support having you considering switching back to Rasterlink? We were evaluating Print Factory.
I curious if they have fixed not being able to view the output values sent to the printer, either within the program of by create a tif file. Also have they fixed the lack of being able to print pure primaries. I tested PF before I went with Caldera and that was the deal killer.Cannot recommend print factory enough. Made the switch from Caldera a little over a year ago and it has been amazing. Better color, ink savings and all the features are great. It is extremely fast and powerful. There is so much more to it than we use, but are very happy with the switch.
I can put you in touch with my rep if you would like as he has been a lifesaver many times.
I would be interested. I have been looking at PF a little bit. I would like to try it again. The people I was dealing with decided to leave and start their own DTF shop.Cannot recommend print factory enough. Made the switch from Caldera a little over a year ago and it has been amazing. the UPS stores are being strongly encouraged to get their new konica minolta machines with fieryFor those who may be interested- Fiery makes available named color profiles consisting of current Pantone L*a*b* specifications for each
of the PMS and FHI system colors. The URL is: https://www.fiery.com/marketing/fiery-servers-and-software/downloads/pantone-library/

Interesting. Even so, if Printfactory provides a means of using named color profiles to define swatches, you should be able to benefit from the information. Sadly, I cannot find any publically accessible technical documentation on Printfactory to see if this is the case.the UPS stores are being strongly encouraged to get their new konica minolta machines with fiery

And what does this have to do with Print Factory. Fiery with spot libraries does control the output values (which a user can adjust as desired) sent to the printer which like any top of the line RIP can do. Can Print Factory now do this? At the time I tested PF I could find no way to even determine what these values are.For those who may be interested- Fiery makes available named color profiles consisting of current Pantone L*a*b* specifications for each

I mentioned the FIery pantone data in the hope that if someone did find out how swatch colors were implemented in Pritfactory,. they could at least get to an accessible source of accurate L*a*b* definitions to try.And what does this have to do with Print Factory.
