Hi!
Having problem with ink suction on printheads after damper change! 2 printheads working properly, 2 can't suck ink- many lines missing in nozzle check..
What to do? I searched google for that, many have problems with that, but no answers at all..
BTW, I'm having Epson 9400.

PLEASE HELP!!
:readthread::thankyou:

i'd suspect either the damper isn't seated, the manifold is cracked, or the fittings to the damper are askew and leaking vacuum.

my money is on a cracked manifold.
very easy to do so when lifting the damper off the printhead manifold- the black cap on printhead/controller chip that has the nipples the insert into the damper. If the nipple is bent too-far by "tipping" the damper, even the slightest, and it can crack and eliminate the ability to draw ink through the line/printhead.
