Quoting on Router

Hello!
I have a zund g3 router and we typically dont do a lot of the same job, but we just got one in thats a repeat and I am trying to gauge what to charge. The job is mainly on 1/2" MDF and some on 1" MDF. Ive calculated that each table is about 30 min in routing time ( not including loading, unloading etc. ). We are trying to figure out whether is best to price based on sq in of each piece, or by total zund routing time. How do you guys go about this??? Thank you!!!

Time + material cost X markup = cost
Include load and unload
Include cleanup, not just of the parts, but of the chips/drops
If I'm quoting something that I haven't ran, I'll get the perimeter length and figure it at the speed needed. ACM is 200ipm, acrylic is 60-90.

the X markup is my issue. Its costing me $40 per board, Im also not sure what our daily upkeep cost is. I ended up doing $.09 per sq inch, which gave me a reasonable quote. Its 30 min of routing, and I added 30 minutes for loading, unloading, cleanup etc. Also factored in the price of bits.

What about your business overheads? Rates, electricity, depreciation etc, as a separate fixed cost to build in other than a wage, and broken bits/cutters, and sales time and restocking time?
