Lettering the rocker panels on a truck (the lowest part of the door closest to the ground)

What kind of vinyl?

Should i use cast or can i get away with oracal 651? (cast is 2 mil and intermediate 651 is 2.5 mil) Not doing any curves.

I do not have a laminator.... is there a clear to put on that i can cut with the plotter to protect it??

Other than wrapping, we try to discourage any die-cut vinyl going down there. It gets dirtiest the fastest and is subject to everything the road can throw up on it. It takes a lot of punishment and generally looks bad no matter what the person does.

If you must, I would letter it with whatever you want and put a clear gravel protection shield over top instead of laminating.
