Sign for a Christmas present

I'm going to make this for my friends for a Christmas present. It'll probably be about 13"x24". I'm happy with it. I think they will, too.

What will it be made from and how?

I'll probably just put it on PVC and cut the board to the shape. It's just for their apartment.

I couldn't wait until Christmas to give it to them. They LOVED it! They didn't cry, tho. Guess I'll have to try harder next time. Or just punch 'em next time I give a gift. "Here's your gift!" Then POW! Punch 'em right in the nose. That's sure to bring a tear or 2. And it's a gift they'll never forget!
