Question STS MP11 (for VJ-1617H) Reviews Needed

Just bought a used VJ-1617H.
It has a post-it on the back "MP11 Ink Only!".
I'm curious if this is from a negative experience from a 3rd party ink.
I will be asking STS for a few user contacts that are presently using this MP11 replacement.

Are their any S101ers that have some feedback/knowledge on the STS MP11 aka
"Replacement Bag for Mutoh Bio-Based MP"?

Thanks in advance!

I think these have a special ink developed by Mutoh so they can print onto a wide variety of sheet material.
Bit specialised these machines even though they are based on proved technology.
I was a bit concerned the print area is just 1615mm x 1200mm.
I would of hoped it would at least print slightly bigger than 8'x4'!
It will not even print a 4'x4' which has to be a pain?
Oh and the ink is corn based. What's that all about?

I've used the VJ1617H for years and loved the way you can print roll to roll AND on rigid. I've done a box truck wrap and 100 d/s coroplast in an 8 hour day. Works great and I'd get it converted to the MP-31 inks as the MP-11 cyan inks tend to gel up and wreck a printhead. This is a printer that cannot be left alone for long. The conversion is free from Mutoh, so I'd contact your tech right away.

Ran into a possible bad head and went to other projects. New head going in withing the next three weeks still have cleaning fluid in the machine (homebrew).
the MP-31, you mentioned switching to this ink requiring a conversion. What does this entail. Is it not a straight forward flush and swap?
