Summa S one d140 fx contour cutting

im having a troubles with contour cutting with my D140FX.

I use onyx 19, Postershop Cut-Server and Summa cutter control.

the problem is this "large file" (10mb) of 1000 squares shaped and size like stamp. Summa stars cutting, cut one or two segment and then it stops. Often with no message on display. So, now i have a sheet with one third cutted. ok, i turn the sheet around. I starts cutting and it cuts whole sheet. Ofcourse, i stopped it before it get to the part already cutted. Ok, i start with second. It stops somewhere in middle of second segment. Just stops. With no message. I lift rolles and it drops a knife and goes diagonal to origin spot with knife down. Ok, i put that job beside, i dont have nerves to dealt with that. But i will have to solve it this week.

Then i go to my next project. Simple squares (500kb). It cuts first segment, start reading second one, and i get a message to "put tool above missed marker". Marker is right beneath tool. i click check mark on cutter, it reads it, it finds it and i keep getting messages to put tool above marker. wtf. Marker is on one layer gloss vinyl, no lamination, no reflections.....

Where is the problem? I have to solve this problem asap.

As for your first problem, I would try running Cutter-Server OR cutter control, not both at the same time.
Is your "missed marker" very close to a dark printed color? If so add a small gutter around the print, and that should solve that problem.

hm i dont know why do i have to use postershop cut server... service guy set it up that way.

marker is no close to dark color. it reads well other marks, that are im same position from printed area.

im very confused. i think it is a cutter issue. if i import plt file in cutter-controll, and select only one segment it reads it and cut it. then i select second segment it fails to read, third segment goes ok... and it reads all markers to get to the third segment. so one time it reads same marker and other time it doesnt.

If you are creating your files using Corel or Illustrator, you could try using the Winplot software to send the cut files to your D140FX. Onyx/Summa workflow can be buggy and often times there are patch fixes that are released like other people mentioned, so eliminating Onyx from the equation for the contour cutting will likely help. You could also try breaking the larger file up into smaller/shorter sections so you're sending less data at a time to the cutter and then use the replot function to send multiple copies. I would also check to ensure you have the latest firmware installed on the cutter as well.

Also restart your cutter and make sure you are not running any other software that might connect to that USB.

I don't have any cutter connected now but you can also try this option and the cutter should show up green on the list.

Yours is S One and it didn't exist in the universe when Onyx 19 was out.
Try with the SummaCut driver but like I already said, you are on old version with no support and in the past there were secret patches that fixed random issues.

ok. my onyx is too old.

can i find these secret patches?

I already have SummaCut set up. But that option doesnt work from CutServer.

No you can't and Onyx won't help. Unless you randomly find someone who has those stored (and I'm not 100% there even was some for 19 but they had it for almost every version since like 12.0).

Because you are on obsolete version. Upgrade to Onyx 24 and you will get them for a while.

And like we already noticed you are trying to use a cutter that you don't have the right driver for anyway. No one is going to tell you it's going to work correctly.
