So, we have been moving into a new building. I have had the laminator for a couple weeks now, but only today is it in operation. I have the wider model with heat assist.
Today I set it up just like my SEAL proS model.
I successfully ran a large print from roll to roll unattended, and it worked flawlessly. That was the ultimate test for us, as we prefer to run unattended laminates, only having to be there at the beginning and end of the roll of prints.
The model is for sure built with decent parts, but not quite as good as the Seal. For example I enjoy the swing arm on the Seal as opposed to having to take the arms off the US Tech.
All in all, I can now say this is a great buy for a shop that needs large production runs, it seems it will keep up with the big name machines.
