This really has nothing to do with signs, thus why it's in 'general chit-chat.........................................................................

How many close calls I've had with them dodging thru vehicles, and because you are behind the wheel and hit one. Responsiblity falls on you. Unless you have a video you are SOL.
Dash Cams are inexpensive and nice to have. I've seen some crazy stuff on mine over the years.

I have front and read dash cams in my vehicles. They have saved me from some problems being able to show what actually happened..

Hey, I can't afford one, but would really like to get one. I know how to follow the rules. I now have an 18 speed regular bike, but blew out both knees, so it's hard going up hills and where I live it's all hills. I've been riding since I was about 5 years old and would like to do it again. I miss it. I wouldn't go anywhere near the cities or crazy places.

I did some looking, Click here is a list of the best E bikes for Adults.
I like this one for you, is not as expensive as most of them, and I like the phat tires - and it has a little rack for your chinese take out
One downside I see is that it doesn't have the shock absorbing saddle pipe (would be better for your back) but it looks like you can contact them and order one separately.

Makes sense. Most any kinda bike won't work in a pond or lake unless ya attach paddles to the pedals.

Have you seen the foil boards? You can stand and pump up and down on them to generate forward momentum. They now have motorized versions, but the original concept blew my mind to bits.

People got it made today with all the electronic gadgets. I grew up in an era where the only cordless tech in the house was a transistor radio and a flashlight.... Neither were rechargeable.

Something I've been noticing around my area and spreading quite rapidly is the use of electric bicycles and scooter. It's been going on for a few years, but seems to have gotten outta hand in the last year or so. There're kids darting in & outta traffic all over the place. Running stop signs, traffic lights, driving out between parked vehicles and it's mostly around the main city lines. Sometimes I hafta go in town for things and it's worse than I remember. Not only is it dangerous, but most of these ding-dongs practically dare ya with their stares. What would happen if ya ran over one of their bicycles if they left it unattended and it got mangled ?? That's a lotta money to lose.

Just wondering if this is happening all over the place and not just here ??

Yes when I visited Philly its out of control....mostly homleless ...migrants and drug dealers...at nights they wear all black and come out of no were,,,and the police turn a blind eye...90% are black and hispanic the last thing they need is an arrest for someone to get stopped and the riots start...when you have a DA who was backed by SOROS for the last 3 terms and a DEI Mayor and a DEI police commisioner its just pray that this madness and murders..carjackings...thefts...assaults and theres NO cash bail at all...I coud not wait that blue leftist hellhole

If you were unlucky, a mangled lithium battery catches fire while the bike frame is caught up in your vehicle.

London is flooded with the damned things, and it's not just the youth who ride without a thought, but regular people on the rental bikes not knowing the first thing about the rules and etiquette of the road and footpath.
Yes, exactly. For mining giants, Spodumene and Lithium is just a commodity. It's a business. They extract lithium and sell it. They don't care if it powers a premium EV or a cheap, fire-prone e-bike assembled with no safety standards.

That pursuit of profit creates a dangerous disconnect. Manufacturers cut corners on batteries, frames, and safety systems. The result? Streets flooded with hazardous devices that become everyone else’s problem while companies just move on to the next sale. There are some good companies, but they are not that big!
