Update on power supply

I was able to get someone from Roland to actually respond to me even though they don't support this printer any more. Here is what I need.

I need recommendations on where I can purchase one. I saw one at Digiprint but I have not heard good things about them. My local authorized dealer is really dragging their feet in getting back to me.

Hi, I have them in stock. They are used and tested fully working original ones. If you want to message me on here I can give you the details. I am in the UK but send parts worldwide all the time

There is also a supplier called Radwell that has many such parts from many disciplines - if they don't have any used parts in stock they can repair for you.

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
With the availability of techs in most areas, it's good to learn both. Otherwise, you get stuck paying idiots like me the big bucks to plug a cable back in.

It would have been very easy to test the PSU first...
How do you test the Power Supply Unit and is there a way to test the Main Board on a Vercacamm 540 VPI? I am having the same trouble, the machine will not start up, no display, no beep, pump clicking. There is 1 green LED light that comes on the carriage board. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Larry

If you have a green light on the carriage board then the power supply is ok This shows the printer is getting the 5V supply it needs to power the boards. There isn't a simple way to just test a mainboard sadly. It could be the main panel, panel cable, mainboard etc.. and you need to know how to trace voltages and diagnose faults
