US Tariffs, Sigh!

Yes, it's been slower than last year. I'm never bored but just not booked out and having a nervous breakdown like Springs in the past.
I'm one who gets more stressed at lack of work vs being overwhelmed. Of course, part of it is getting enough work moving for a dozen guys, and seeing the list of jobs shrinking over the past 3 months has been stressful. I like to imagine I'm just resting between waves, but seeing the market...

Wow, this thread is full of people that think they are smarter than they really are. Explains a lot as to why we are in this predicament as a country.

One side is a literal cult and the other is a bunch of people getting offended and outraged in the name of others.

Would or could you expand a bit more on this ?? As it seems, this has been said over & over already, but it doesn't do any good. Maybe some new eyes on it will help.

And don't be afraid of stepping on toes...................

They treat political parties as sports team, if i root for one i can never root for the other one. Critical thinking is nowhere to be found in todays America.

You can simultaneously be for stricter immigration control and against stupid positions like defunding the police, or having trans men competing in womens sports, and also be able to call out the stupidity and improvisational nature of this tariff debacle and the CONSTANT lying of the current administration.

Try it, it's refreshing.

I like what you're saying, but to define the current administration as constantly lying..... wouldn't it be more correct that this has been going on for longer than a few months ?? This took years and decades to get to this point. If you go back through history of just not this country, but outside influences, these same problems have been around for this country, almost from the beginning and before that, the rest of the world, as well. This temperament is normal as long as I can see back 5,000 years ago. Nothings changed. Just the players and tools at their disposal. Now, of course, I can only go by what is written by humans before me and as we all know....... people are now changing history to fit their own needs and wants. What I learned in school is now false in today's classrooms and books. As others keep sporting new theories, we change history. We were told Columbus founded the new world, then it changed to the vikings, but what about all the people who came over via the bering straight. Don't they count ?? Nothing is how it seems. My grandfather saw people go from riding horses and wagons to automobiles running on gas and electric. He saw people in air balloons to bi-planes to mighty jets and people landing on the moon. He wasn't prepared for that, but he welcomed it and was amazed at the same time. Today, we can't agree on anything from politics to what's a woman or man's place in this world.

I was asked to provide one of the many lies of this administration, i just threw out the first one that came to my mind. Trump was asked last week if he had a duty to uphold the constitution and said "I don't know".
lie some more, in a weak attempt to accuse others of exactly what you are doing by omitting his response and parsing it to fit your narrative
"I don't know, I have to respond again by saying that I have brilliant lawyers working for me and will obviously have to do what the Supreme Court has said, but we have a different interpretation"

he was responding to whether or not many if not all of the 30million illegal immigrants are allowed jury trials prior to deportation ...which is unrealistic, to say the least.
that's why DECADES AGO we have designated courts, committees, & processes to expedite such things to avoid billions of dollars & millions of jury selections to check the boxes of "yep, here illegally" "yep, violent offender" "yep, not violating some form of international asylum status by sending them home"
his major concern is the liberal judges, that are standing in his way while attempting to deport the minority of that number whom have been adjudicated as violent/criminal, per the process that has been used by many administrations prior to Biden's failure at upholding any form of immigration law whatsoever in some master plan to influence the Census and stack the House with more representatives & turn purple states blue via some modern form of a Bolshevik revolution.

must be nice, fist pumping the 5th amendment, whilst completely ignoring the unconstitutional persecution of j6 protesters.
TDS is uncurable, but should also be intolerable.

i apologize for accusing you of lying.
media is to blame for pushing narratives to people who are easily manipulated, as knee-jerk reactions keep you tuned-in while they generate massive amounts of ad revenue and endless infighting keeps everyone's eye off the ball in play.

as stated many times previously in this thread, lay off the headlines. context matters.
there's more truth in what's being intentionally omitted, than the parroted talking points intended to rile-up the mob.
