Valuejet 1604 440ml Ink Tank Question

I have been told by a few different sources that my machine can/cannot take the 440ml cartridges.
I noticed the latest 1614 have the cartridges on top of the machine and they are the 440ml.
Can someone clear this question up for me as I can save money if I can fit 440ml cartridges.

The 1604 and 1614 are made to use the 440ml. I have used them since day one.

Yes.......... Use 440 ML cartridges in the 16XX machines preferably. 220 ML in the 1203 and 1304 for ovbious reasons..........
