what material would you recommend for this? Lunch on me!

Hey everyone, looking for a textured grippy adhesive laminate like seen in the photos. It has a really nice dotted texture as opposed to alot of the "stone" style textures I keep seeing when hunting for this. If someone helps me find this type of material I will send you lunch haha!

That's a really interesting finish. Some sort of marine application? Hard to tell what you're holding.

That doesn't look like a laminate to me, looks more like a dyed/ screen printed substrate of some sort. One looks like pvc, the other looks like fabric. Think multi layered trim & interior panels and emblems in vehicles & watercraft, mass produced mouse-pads, etc that are manufactured with patterns, logos and verbiage right in them.
You'll find some lams that are textured, and I've used different ones over the years, but never anything like that.
No soup for me...

thinking a search for "mouse pad" "velvet" or "flocked" material is the direction to find this stuff.
best I could come up with was amazon & walmart, as fellers/grimco yields zero results.

tho' i think this is more of a fabric rather than a neoprene/pvc that you may be looking for

That's a UK dirtbike graphics company selling a textured option for their graphics. But the texture is clearly coarser than what the OP was showing. It's also geometric, like diamonds, rather than little tiny dots. In any case, Scrub Designz isn't selling the overlaminate.
